How it all started...

Seashine was founded in 1986 When we started developing our polishing and surface handling techniques. In 2005, Rod Kux joined Seashine bringing an expanded knowledge and experience about boats, their systems and performance.

Rod Kux brings a high level of customer satisfaction to the boat detailing business. Being an avid boater all his life, Rod understands what it takes to restore and protect the boats’ beauty and treats each one like it is his own.

Rod’s passion for boats began at the age of twelve when he learned to sail in the Mediterranean. As his experience and passion grew, he became a certified International skipper and spent three years in the Israeli Navy. Rod’s sailing enthusiasm has yet to dwindle. On the week-ends you can often find him racing on the bay.
