Richmond Yacht Harbor Started in 1932 by a group of Richmond locals who had a strong desire for the water and boating. The Richmond Yacht harbor is located in a great location in Point Richmond, with the perfect weather most days out of the year. The founders had a strong desire to promote affordable sailing to all, so they built all there own boats from scratch, even the clubhouse and organized their own races. Over 80 years later the club continues to be a great place for the serious boater who wants to also have fun and enjoy the bay.
