Many cities along the water feature fireworks shows on Friday July 3rd and Saturday July 4th, including Berkeley, Sausalito, Alameda, San Francisco, Oakland, and others along the peninsula. Experiencing the firework shows on the water under the stars is an incredible experience! In addition to the epic shows, there are parades, festivals, and a ton of fun things to do! Jack London Square is hosting their annual family friendly festival on July 4th from 11AM to 4PM. Firework shows at Pier 39 and Berkeley Marina start around 9PM. Adventure of the Month:
Evening trip on the Bay to watch the fireworks: Taking off from the emeryville marina, we are heading out on July 4th around 5:30PM. Heading through the channel markers, head straight out towards the Golden Gate. Depending on security measures for the holidays on the water, being just past the Berkeley Pier anchored will provide quite a show. You will be able to view the firework shows from Berkeley, Sausalito, San Francisco, and the surrounding cities from one vantage point. Another great spot is toward Alcatraz on the Embarcadero side of Treasure Island. The Berkeley show might be out of reach but you will be able to see the SF and North Bay shows. We hope you have a safe and enjoyable 4th of July weekend! We would love to hear your adventures to feature in our next monthly article. Happy Boating!!
