Adventure of the Month: Half day trip to the Giants Game
Leaving Sausalito Yacht Harbor, head up Racoon Strait. As you head up the North side of the Island, and keep your eyes out for the growing seal population and occasional shark cruising through. Head South around the island and get the sails set for this portion of the ride, as the wind picks up quickly as you enter the “slot”. Depending on the wind, head toward the Bay Bridge on the east or west side of the island. If winds and traffic on the water is high, head on the East side of Treasure Island and under the Bay Bridge. Enjoy the views of the Oakland port in action, and the complete reconstruction of the Eastern Span of the bay bridge. Tack once more and make a direct shot over to the ballpark, and get a nice anchor spot in McCovey Cove. Don’t forget your kayaks and dinghy to catch the next splash hit! Enjoy a fun day in the sun! Dock at many restaurants in the area for after game fun too. Don’t forget to send us your pictures and day trips on the Bay. We would love to feature them on our website.

Happy boating!
