Marin Yacht Club: The Marin Yacht Harbor began in 1929 by F. Somers Peterson and wife as a compliment to the new 9-hole country club that was constructed nearby. Their true love was the water and not golf. In 1935 it spilt from the country club and its founding 19 members created what is now the Marin Yacht Club. Over the years this prestigious club is loved by its members for its community events with youth sailing, annual events and races, and the one of the nicest marina facilities in the Bay Area. The officers take pride in upholding the traditional values of the founders while offering something for all their members. The recreational facilities include a tennis court, pool and clubhouse, and they also have a private dining room for events and member bar. Sausalito

Sausalito Yacht Harbor – (Sausalito Yacht Maintenance and boat cleaning services): The Sausalito Yacht Harbor is a nice marina marina located in the southernmost part of the town. The marina has 600 slips, and is located near beautiful downtown Sausalito. The marina offers members nice amenities and is just up from well known Spinnaker Restaurant and many other cafes and restaurants. Cass Rental Marina: The Cass Gidley Marina is currently under renovation. While the construction is anticipated to be complete by the end of 2015, they are accepting membership. Check out their website here for more information.

San Francisco Yacht Club: Founded in 1869, The San Francisco Yacht Club is the oldest club on the Pacific Coast.
